Michelle Kavanaugh



I was born and raised in the

Capital District. Family is very

important to me; this I believe

is what makes me who I am

today. I have been working with

the senior population for many

years, I'm also the joint owner

of M & T Helping Hands, a

companionship service. My

clients commend me for my energy and understanding. Through Organize Senior Moves I am able to combine my love of design with the enjoyment of working with older adults in the senior community.

Laurie Harder

Project Manager


I am originally from New Jersey,

I have lived in the Albany area

for the last 18 years. I am part of

a large local family and as a result

I make personal connections with

clients all the time. My

professional experience includes

time spent in the retail industry,

sales/management, human

resources and home staging. I

really enjoy working with our clients by helping them organize, sort through their belongings and preparing for their move. I love the whole process. It is so much fun to decorate and make our clients feel comfortable in their new home. I love to see their excitement upon entering their new home while telling us "We love it!"


Best Skills:

I love to decorate and I am good at placing furniture/artwork. I also enjoy organizing the kitchen.


When I am not working:

I love to spend time with my husband and two boys. I can usually be found at a baseball field, soccer field, and hockey rink or basketball court depending on the season. I love to cook and bake (when I have time). I enjoy exercising, gardening and decorating my home. My friends call on me to be their "personal shopper" for furniture, clothing and home projects. I like to shop!




Lisa Puvogel

When my five children were

younger, they loved to ask me

what I was going to be “when I

grew up.” Before becoming a stay

at home mom, I had been a

middle school teacher, so I

always figured that I would

eventually go back to teaching.

Instead, after my kids were

grown, I decided to get my real estate license and began doing home staging for local real estate agencies. I enjoyed what I was doing, but I was still looking for that “perfect” job, and I found it with Organize Senior Moves! I love that I get to use my skills as a decorator, designer, and organizer with clients who are so appreciative and so willing to share pieces of their lives as we help them sort through a lifetime of memories. I enjoy the feeling of satisfaction I have after a day of working with OSM


Best Skills:

I am a task-orientated person with a good eye for detail, design, and organization. I am a firm believer in “there is a place for everything, and everything in its place.”


When I am not working:

I love to travel--I enjoy visiting my children in Buffalo, Virginia, Maryland, and Korea. My husband and I also enjoy spending time at our family home in the Adirondacks. When I’m home, I’m usually reading, painting, decorating, or gardening.




Libby Evans

Head Organizer


I was born and raised in the

Albany area and have spent most

of my adult life here. My

background is in retail

management which has helped

me with the people skills

necessary for working at OSM.

I have always enjoyed the

challenge of organizing things in

general and love being able to help others in this way. I also like meeting people of all ages from various backgrounds – both clients and coworkers – and have benefited from hearing about their life experiences.


Best Skills:

Making a house function like a "home" in an organized fashion.


When I am not working:

I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, friends and family. I also enjoy restoring our Victorian cottage in Thousand Island Park, golfing, working out, cooking and all water sports.




Tami DeFrancesco

Office Manager

I am originally from Wilbraham,

Massachusetts.  My husband and I

moved into the Slingerlands, NY

area 18 years ago. We have enjoyed

living here while raising our two

daughters. I loved being a stay at

home mom during that time.  Now

that our girls are older I am excited

to be back to work in our

community.  My professional

background is in sales and

marketing for a large hotel. I am a social and detailed oriented person.  As office manager at Organize Senior Moves every day is exciting and fulfilling.

My attention to details and communication.


When I am not working:

I love being with my family either watching my girls play sports or playing tennis with friends.




Kari Manuel

Project Manager

Kari comes to OSM with the compassion of a friend, the love of a daughter, and the attention to small details of a mother.  Many moves, both across the country (and back!) and locally have given her many of the skills and understanding necessary to help guide our clients as they downsize, transition and organize their belongings. Kari truly aims to see our clients comfortable, and most importantly, happy, at the end of a job, when they are settled in their new home.


When I am not working:

When she's not working, she enjoys baking and cooking for her family of three hungry teenagers, running outside and the practice of yoga.
